This mic is fine with baritone country voice, and fits the honky-tonk feel of those songs. It didn’t have that Big Condenser mic polish, but that’s okay. However, chances are that when recording in a studio, a large condenser mic will sound better.
The casing provides amazing protection for the diaphragm from getting damaged. It absorbs drops and bumps to a surprising degree without noticeably changing the sound quality.
