Pros
Pro Reasonable 1080p performance
In some games, 1080 performance is reasonable. In Batman: Arkham Origins, an average framerate of 58 frames per second is achieved, while 39 fps was measured in Bioshock: Infinite. Some more intensive games such as Battlefield 4 average around thirty fps, which is still considered playable but not as smooth.
Cons
Con Previous generation chip
The original R7 360 chip has been around since 2014, and both NVIDIA and AMD are introducing new mid-range graphics cards in the remainder of 2016. As the new generation uses much smaller and denser chips, performance improvements will be substantial - making the R7 360 largely outdated.
Con Outperformed by the GTX 750 Ti
The direct competitor of the R7 360 is the GTX 750 Ti, and the latter card outperforms the R7 360 in almost every game, except AMD optimized games such as Heroes of the Storm. For comparison: the R7 360 scores 3,747 in the 3D Mark Fire Strike benchmark, while the GTX 750 Ti manages to score 4,113 - an improvement of 10%. The GTX 750 Ti also uses significantly less energy and doesn't require a 6-pin power connector to operate.
