 Exaggerated but exciting physics dimension

The physics element of the game slightly bends reality, making way for a more thrilling experience where everything seems to be behaving as though there is less gravity. This means that cars can somewhat fly around if they hit one another or go up ramps.

 Easy-to-use controls

Whether you use a controller or keyboard and mouse, the controls are fairly simple. You are driving a car pushing a ball around, with forward, reverse, boost, power-slide and jump as the primary motions at the player's disposal. The more challenging aspect comes in the form of learning how to best use these motions when performing off-the-wall manoeuvres and in the air, making way for breath-taking replays.

Get the ball in the net! Soccer at it's simplest, this game is physics driven using different cars as players, making it a fast-paced and exciting game with a basic underlying objective.

Each game has a time limit of 5 minutes, paused only when one team scores and the ball is reset to mid-field.

 Supports split-screen on PC

This is a rare feature for a PC game. You can therefore play with friends in the same room, which is made even easier with wireless controllers. Obviously a larger monitor would make this experience more enjoyable, but even on a 20 inch screen it is playable with minimal loss of detail.

 Customization of cars is creative and fun

With DLC there are quite a few cars to choose from, including the Delorean from Back to the Future. The player can create a customized car with countless possibilities, ranging from choice of paint scheme, color, paint type (gloss/flat, etc.), wheels, boost color, hat, and antenna toppers.

Not present in earlier titles, the player can now equip drones to follow their main ship around. These drones are used to help during levels, depending on what type of support each drone offers. Some will help with shooting, others can help collect objects. Of course it is up to the player to choose what kind of support they want. Overall this is a helpful mechanic that is a completely new feature in the series.

There are many levels and styles of play. Reaching one star in a level can be simple enough, but getting all three stars can be a bit of a challenge.

Playing on harder difficulties or playing the boss levels can be trials in frustration as the game can be quite difficult. This may wear thing on the player if they do not like the challenge or the frustration.

 Great for newcomers

Something that may have held people back from playing this series was the tough controls for pulling off successful combos and special moves. This has been tweaked in SF V, as the controls are a bit easier to understand as well as pull off. This was done by design in order to make the game more accessible.
