The primary theme to puzzles in Antichamber is that things aren't how they appear. If you walk down a hallway and turn around, you might be in a totally different area. This leads to some incredibly interesting and difficult puzzles, forcing you to think about the world around you in a totally new way. See More
Near the middle of the game, you get a thing that a lot of the puzzles start to focus on, and the mind-bending puzzles and tricks to the player take more of a backseat as this mechanic changes the game to more of a traditional style of puzzle game. What really drives the well crafted story home is the wonderful narration done by British filmmaker, comedian, writer, actor, and presenter of radio and television, Danny Wallace. Not many indie small budget games receive the polish this game has in their voice acting, which really adds to the experience when playing the game. See More
Minimalist design and relaxing music makes this a very different experience from the bustle of some others. A minimal zen like game that allows one to relax while playing. While gameplay may get hectic there are modes of play that do not allow for loosing meaning that you can relax and just play without worry. See More
You have building blocks that you use to design and create with. The more you explore and gather the more building blocks are unlocked. You can choose to be aggressive or not. The designs you make are as unique as you are. The gameplay is absorbing, you can be as much artist or engineer as you like. The player needs to get from point a to point b by fixing glitches in the environment by using a programming language called Null, which allows user manipulation of the environment. Through this manipulation the game focuses on an inventive way of showing 3D representations of the mechanics of programming. See More
The game feature different areas that have completely different feels to them due to the use of architecture and colors. One are may look like a temple and use the color blue a lot while another may use modern architecture of concrete blocks and use the color red a lot. This makes for areas that are not only different in looks but gives a sense of exploration as you never know what will be next. See More
The central hub of the game is a vast array of dials and switches that are sparsely defined making for a very explorative environments, from there you will go to many different planets that have crazy color designs. While a very solitary title due to no life forms on these planets it gives the player a chance to really absorb the different worlds and their own control panel. See More
