For Honor is a real-time arena game that is based around dueling your enemies.
There are 3 factions: Knights, Samurai, and Vikings. Each faction has 4 classes of characters that are available to play, and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses.
Combat in this game is completely skill-based. In order to fight, you must use your mouse to choose the direction and strength of your attack. Different combinations of mouse clicks will perform different attacks or abilities. Just as you much choose the direction of your attack, you must also choose the direction of your block. Blocking in this game will generally fully block an attack, as well as cause your enemy to recoil, giving you a chance to strike. Skilled players can kill several enemies in a row without taking damage, or perhaps even at the same time.
It also features an equipment system which you can use to customize your character. You can make yourself attack faster, tire slower, hit harder, and a great number of other things are left up to your discretion.

Pros
Pro Incredibly rewarding and satisfying combat
The combat in For Honor is completely skill-based. A skilled player is able to kill several enemies in a row without taking damage, or perhaps even at the same time.
The further your skills progress, the more noticeable you'll be on the battlefield. Your kill streaks will begin to rack up much more quickly, and your character will quickly gain levels in-game. This also leads to higher currency rewards after games, as well as better equipment.
Pro You can customize your characters to your play style
For Honor features an item/equipment system that will enable your character to do a number of things better (and worse - you generally must sacrifice in one area to gain in another). Equipment can be found after battle, as well as bought with the currency you earn from playing. It can then be upgraded even further, using parts from other equipment you break down for crafting purposes.
Not only can you make you character hit stronger, take less damage, tire more slowly, etc., the game also has a vanity system, meaning you can customize the look of your character using the equipment you find.
