Pros
Pro Can be worn for hours straight thanks to these headphones' ample comfort features
The QuietComfort 25 headphones are really comfortable to wear for long periods. These have very soft ear pads which go over the ear. The pads have nice cushioning, and are covered with supple and high quality synthetic leather material.
The headband also features some padding, with the inner lining featuring Alcantara which feels really nice on the skin.
Pro These headphones are quite enjoyable to listen to, thanks to the fairly balanced and lively sound that they produce
The sound signature that these headphones have can be described as quite balanced, with a little emphasis on the various frequencies. The bass is full and punchy. While the sub-bass is not pronounced, there is good and fast bass extension, and this is what gives the music punch and a sense of tightness. The mids are full and slightly forward so vocals and guitars can be clearly heard. The highs are clear and do not distort at high volumes. There is a peak on the upper treble which helps to add more detail and clarity to the music, but some may also find the high frequencies to be quite harsh at times. Overall, this is a really fun headphone to listen to, especially if you just want to enjoy listening to the music.
Pro Users have a good degree of control over the Active Noise Cancelling feature
You have a number of options as to how you want to use these headphones' Active Noise Cancelling feature. You can either have the feature on or off while you are listening to music. You can also choose to switch on Active Noise Cancelling while wearing the headphones without listening to music. This is a nifty feature if you just want to enjoy some peace and quiet when in a noisy environment.
Pro You can really focus on the music with these headphones due to the very effective Active Noise Cancelling Feature
With the Active Noise Cancelling switched on, you can really zone in on the music that you are listening to. Noise cancelling is very effective at blocking out ambient noise, especially the lower frequencies. On a flight for example, you can enjoy listening to your music in near perfect silence. Engine noise is drastically reduced, as well as most of the sound from the conversations in your vicinity.
Pro The battery for Active Noise Cancelling is replaceable
You do not have to worry too much about the battery level of these headphones if you use active noise cancelling a lot. Should these headphones run out of power, you can simply swap the battery with a triple-A one and get back to enjoying the active noise cancelling feature.
Cons
Con Noise canceling is uncomfortable for some users
While some people active noise canceling, Bose QC 25 in particular has a lot of complaints about "ear drum pressure".
