The writing is so well done that the character and their story fell very real, even when realizing the story takes place in a fairy-tale world. This allows for immersion in the game that is often not matched by other point and click adventure games.

The Wolf Among Us is a point and click adventure game based on the Fables comic books. The gameplay consists the player navigating branching dialogue scenes as well as clicking certain places in a pre-rendered scene to have the character move to that location in order to click on objects in the near area to see if there are clues or info to be found. Through investigating many different scenes the player can piece together the story as well as use items to unlock new areas and advance the story.
