All of these buttons can be programmed to do pretty much whatever you want. The scroll wheel can act as a smooth unhindered scroll or a notched scroll depending on how you want to use it. It has an on-the-fly CPI switch with 5 states and the mouse can store three different macro profiles and can switch between them with a button press. You can also customize the weight of the gaming mouse between 121-139 grams and its center of balance with up to five 3.6 gram weights to adjust how it feels as it moves across your mousepad. Changing the surface setting in the app may potentially cause random spinning ingame for a random period of time (usually ~5sec). This has something to do with the surface of the mousepad being used and a particular setting of the mouse. In order to address this issue, you can return the mouse back to its default surface setting. See More
The mouse weight is already a lot, but for better upward and downward weight distribution, it asks you to insert at least 2 weights in. The shape, however is very much based on hand size and angle preference. Due to its size, it is a bit more comfortable for people with hands larger than the average. See More
The LED backlit G on the back of the mouse can be quite bright in a dark room. For users that do not want to use the application that is necessary (or can't, like say Linux users) the light is unable to be turned off. Of course within the application for the mouse the light may be completely turned off. See More
Most competitive FPS gaming mice aim to weigh under 100 grams. The G502 weighs 121 grams, which can be further increased to 139 grams with extra weights. The increased weight makes it more difficult to move quickly. It also means your hand will get tired quicker. See More
This mouse is built to last with its mechanical button switches, smooth teflon feet, and lengthy braided cable. Being that this is a wireless mouse there is the battery weight to contend with. Batteries in the weight of the device is 152 grams, which isn't all that bad considering but still not for users that like a lighter mouse. The mouse can also be used with a single battery, which is useful for not only reducing weight but also for balancing the mouse. With two batteries the mouse can be a bit slipper on the right side when picking it up as the pinkie and ring fingers don't have as much to grip - but balancing the weight over towards the thumb allows the mice to be more easily picked up as the side buttons allow for a decent place to grip. The 12 side buttons on the Razer Naga Chroma have mechanical switches inside. Mechanical switches have a great tactile and audible feedback while also having great longevity. The buttons themselves are also angled which makes it easier to find the correct button to use. See More
To get the latest drivers or edit settings you have to download "synapse" an "online cloud device updater and profile storage" application. You have to register an account with your email and have it running in the background constantly for changes to take effect. See More
