Pros
Pro Cooking made safe
It is equipped with a lid safety device, which prevents pressure from building up if the lid is not properly closed and prevents the lid from opening until all pressure is released. It also has a secondary safety release valve, which automatically release pressure should the pressure build beyond maximum setting. If the aforementioned safety features fail, a spring-loaded device located beneath the heating element will lower the inner pot to separate it from the rubber gasket and allow the steam and pressure to escape around the pot lid. Finally, if the unit’s internal temperature rises beyond the safe limit, the power supply is automatically cut off by a temperature cut-off device.
Cons
Con More time needed to cook than the default program time
The time to heat up is actually not included in the program time, so in actuality, the pressure cooker needs to build up heat/pressure first before the timer starts. It could take around 15 to 20 minutes to reach working pressure. If you want to get the pressure up in no time, say 5 to 7 minutes, use warm liquid (either water or stock) and make sure the ingredients are at room temperature.
Con Inconvenient way to adjust time
It does not have a subtract time button to adjust time. The time adjustment button only adds time. So, to adjust time, you have to select the closest time that does not exceed the required cooking time and select the time adjustment button to add time.
