Cons
Con Subpar video quality with more than 5 users
Skype has significant problems with multiple users and video quality. Skype recommends that a max of 5 users group chat as video quality is severely affected. Even webcams tested with other chat services showed lower quality when used with Skype.
Con 32bit application
Some linux distros can be pure64 for various reasons.
Or if you have a regular 64bit with multilib (support for 32bit binaries), it'll require a lot of extra 32bit libraries to be installed in the system, disregard you already having the same libraries as 64bit, so more space wasted. Or worse, some OS can't deal too much with multilib, so they'll need a new process to everything in 32bit. Can be an issue if you have limited resources or a machine doing some heavy stuff (audio/video processing, building stuff, etc).
Isn't a big deal for a regular scenario, but the fact is they just need to compile a version that supports 64bits and they don't do it for years. For 2017 standards is quite annoying and it's a good example how Microsoft doesn't care about it.
