Cons
Con Some plugins might be out of date and abandoned
- changes in latest versions of Grav seem to break some plugins that haven't been touched in a long time classes deprecated / removed) do PHP knowledge might be required to develop
- ACL seems to be cumbersome to set-up (not intuitive but it can be done)
- good for 'marketing' sites but not for really complex sites without PHP / Grav knowledge
Con Scaling issues
No real scaling solution should your site become very large. Although it is supposed to be for small or middle-sized projects, not every site remains that way and the lack of a proper scaling solution is disappointing. According to them and a quick search in their forums says scaling is in the works, but some of the official posts are from years ago and still nothing has been done.

Pro Does not use any database, a complete flat Elise CMS
Database being a point of vulnerability is completely removed from the equation with it's flat file approach.
