Highly recommend getting these. Grip strenghteners actually help you out with lifting weights. After a month or two of using grip strenghteners, bench pressing, deadlifting and pullups don't feel the same. Your wrists feel way more stable, especially when working on explosive power and lifting near your maximum weights.
