Flagged Pros + Cons
Pro No systemd
The systemd code base has grown well over 1M (that's one million) lines of code, which is absurd for what it is supposed to do, i.e. launch and supervise processes. In contrast, OpenRC is below 18K lines and runit less than 8K. A google search about 'systemd CVE' shall tell you why having an attack surface that large is just bad.
Pro runit
Artix actively supports the runit init system known from Void Linux. (Equally besides the OpenRC init system known from Gentoo.)
Con Fragmentation
Forked distributions like Artix and Devuan fragment the Linux community and hurt the original project. Arch users who don't want to use systemd should use Void Linux instead.
