There are no height levels, you can adjust this high chair to any height. Just press the button at the base with your foot, raise or lower the seat with your hands and release once you've reached your desired chair height. This is very similar to an office chair where you would have to put your weight down while the button is pressed.
The Boon high chair has 2 detachable tray liners (plastic, smaller trays you can fit into the main tray itself). You can alternately use when one of them is in the dishwasher. It is also small enough to fit into dishwashers.
The high chair has caster wheels on its pedestal base so you can easily glide it on any surface. It is also floor-friendly, there is no need to worry about scraping your floor.
This is very easy to clean since there are no cracks nor crevices that food or liquid can get into. You can either wipe it with a cloth or wash it down with soap and water for a deeper, more thorough clean.
While most of the high chairs on the market today only have 3-point harnesses, the OXO has 5. There are 2 on the shoulders, 2 on the waist, and 1 on the crotch area.
The tray has a small space where water gets through whenever you deep clean it in the sink. To separate the two materials of the tray, you would have to remove 16 screws. It gathers old, stale water.
You do not need to upgrade when your child outgrows his high- chair. You can use Siesta as a recliner (baby), a high chair, and a normal chair for when he is ready for the dinner table.
The seat cushion which is made of a leather-like material (the Prima Classe fabric) can easily be cleaned with a wet cloth.
The seat cover is also removable for a more thorough clean.
You can easily adjust the footrest as your child's legs become longer as they grow. The footrest also swings back and can stay locked under the seat if your child does not need it anymore.
As your child grows and becomes bigger, you can adjust the back to recline in 5 different angles. You can adjust to any position your child is comfortable with.
The center post placed in the middle of the seat to protect your child from sliding down is called the T-Bar. It is meant as a safety feature, however some children fuss over the fact that there is an irremovable plastic divider hitting their legs.
