You can fold and unfold it in less than 3 seconds. To unfold, just pull the arms apart and the chair's legs will pop open. To fold, pull the inch-wide strap at the back of the chair which pulls the legs back together.
If you take the tray off and have your toddler sit on the fabric where their legs are meant to be inserted, it can double as an ordinary lawn or outdoor chair.
You can use this product straight out of the box. Just snap the legs open, put your child in, slide the tray in, and voilà - feeding time. No need to attach separate parts since this high chair is simply a frame with fabric slipped in the metal arms and legs.
The leg holes are too small (about 5 inches in diameter) and bigger babies with bigger legs cannot fit in them. What some parents did was make the holes bigger by carefully cutting the fabric, still following the circle of the leg holes.
The Pop N' Sit is very budget-friendly yet is very durable (when used by children under 40lbs). With proper use and care, this high chair will last you for years.
The legs, which open and measure at 28" x 28" when spread wide, are very sturdy. Since the legs are far apart, you do not need to be worried about your child tipping over.
You can clean the Pop N' Sit by wiping it with a wet cloth. Or you can take off the fabric from its aluminum frame and pop it in the machine for a more thorough clean.
Unlike most hard plastic or wooden high chairs, this seat is made of heavy soft canvas and is therefore comfortable to sit on, even for extended periods of time.
Since its legs are only made with thin aluminum, you have to be careful not to exceed the weight capacity (up to 40 lbs) because there is a risk that it might break or snap. Make sure that only children within or below this weight use the seat.
This high chair was made for outdoor family activities like camping. It is very light at 7.6 lbs and since it has a carrying shoulder bag similar to adult camping chair and its bag, you can bring it anywhere with ease.
The tray which is made of the same fabric as the rest of the high chair has no support underneath it. You cannot put a plate on the tray without it sliding towards your baby. There is a hack, however. You can lift the steel frame of the arms a few inches up where they are hooked to the mainframe to ensure that the tray will not swoop as much as it does before adjusting.
It unfolds with just one pulling motion and locks into place with metal locks at both legs. The snaps will not lock if the legs are not fully open, thus ensuring the safety of your child in this seat.
This high chair needs no assembly and has no detachable parts, so you do not need to carry other accessories for this high chair to function. It's a straight-out-the-box travel necessity for families who go on picnics and outdoor activities.
Unlike most high chairs which have an open space under their tray, this model only has holes for you to put your baby's legs through. Parents with bigger babies find it difficult to do so because of the small leg holes.
To get your baby secured, you would have to insert him under the straps since it has no removable buckle. Parents find this very difficult to do one-handedly since they would have to lift the strap up with their other hand and assist their child's legs through the small leg holes.
Albeit just a few inches, this high chair has a smaller footprint (or the floor space it takes up when it is used), thus making it perfect for small spaces. Since its legs are not as spread apart as its competitor's, people walking about have less chances of tripping over them.
Although you cannot remove the fabric from its frame, you can still wipe the vinyl fabric with a wet cloth or hose it down with soap and water. Just make sure you wipe the frame dry to avoid rust and air-dry it properly before storage.
