Pros
Pro Good performance
The dual core i7-5500U is clocked at 2.4GHz with a boost up to 2.9GHz, and is manufactured using a 14nm processes. It is designed to be a power efficient chip, although it still performs well. The SSD can read up to 514MB/s, and can write up to 268MB/s.
When it comes to gaming, the power efficient processor and built-in graphics holds it back. It can handle most games on low settings at playable framerates (around 30FPS), although framerates drop down to around 20FPS when you turn the settings up to medium.
Pro Good display
The 1080p IPS display is fairly bright (average 351 cd/m²), and the brightness is well distributed at 89% (the corners are a bit dimmer than the middle). Viewing angles are great as with all IPS panels. Colors aren't super accurate (DeltaE is 7.37 for colors and 9.54 for greyscale), and the display is glossy (as all touchscreens are).
Pro Convertible design & touchscreen
The keyboard flips all the around back behind the screen to mimic a tablet. This is great for when you want to watch a movie in bed, browse the web on the couch, or even taking notes with the included stylus in class - using it like a pen and paper.
A touchscreen is a bonus, and while it doesn't add any functionality it makes using the laptop more enjoyable when just web browsing or doing any task that doesn't involve a keyboard.
