A 3D customizer for busy makers.
3D printing is a powerful technology because it allows to recreate an object without the need for highly technical manufacturing expertise. SOL75 pushes this beyond replication, by giving anyone the possibility to create new, custom made and useful objects.
Made for busy engineers and makers, it might be the 3D software you need when building a DIY project that needs custom functional parts you want to 3D print but don’t want to design.
Unlike most customizers (such as Thingiverse one), it does not focus only on geometric parameters (like height and width), but also on functional ones (like mass or breaking point), as it is based on mechanical expertise (+ a little AI help).
How it works:
- Choose or create a component
- Set the parameters
- Download a 3D file, the Bill of Materials, and a handbook with in-depth details on how the component is engineered
-
Currently SOL75 works in browser, but a standalone version for Linux and Windows will be available in 2022.
