The audio quality from the MXL770 is not very detailed, but it is clear and full. Combined with the shock mount and hard case, this mic is a steal for the price.

Transporting the MXL 770 shouldn’t be too difficult thanks to the inclusion of a carrying case. The case is made out of hard plastic with thick foam inside so the mic will be adequately protected when taken out of your home or studio.
