Ranked in these QuestionsQuestion Ranking
Pros
Pro Online multiplayer
Pro Prequel to other Killzone titles
For those interested in the story of Killzone, Mercenary is a prequel to all the previous released titles on PS3, which fleshes out some of what happened before those games took place.
Pro Was not phoned in
Unlike Resistance or Call of Duty Killzone was not a quick cash in for the Vita. Mercenary plays as much like it's console brother and looks fantastic while doing it.
Pro Plenty of unlockables
As the player progresses in each stage, each block dropped allows for points that can then be used to unlock skins and avatars. This gives incentive to keep playing the game for those that want to unlock every item in the game.
Cons
Con Single player campaign is too short
Coming in at only 9 missions that may last around 5 hours, the single player story mode is pretty short. While there is a lot to do in the multiplayer gameplay, those looking for a single player shooter that will last them a good while may be disappointed.
Con Multiplayer is only local
This greatly hold back the multiplayer found in the game as it can only be played with someone else who is in the same room and also owns the game and Vita.
