AOC G2460PQU vs GeChic 1503i

With a response time of just 1ms, the AOC G2460VWQ6 is one of the fastest monitors on the market. Ideal for fast-paced gaming situations such as first person shooters.

This AOC display features Anti-Blue Light technology, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted from the screen if needed and requested. Blue light has been proven to decrease sleep quality; this feature is especially helpful when used during the night.

The G2460PQU features two USB 2.0 ports on the side of the monitor, of which one is a high-powered port for fast charging of mobile devices. There are also two ports on the back of the display.

You can easily adjust the height of the monitor, and you can also rotate it and switch between landscape and portrait mode.

Although the maximum brightness for the G2460PQU is specified at 350 cd (candela)/m², the display actually performs even better. With a testing result of 423 cd/m², the maximum brightness is extremely high. For comparison: the average similar TN-display only reaches 300 cd/m².

The build quality of the G2460PQU is very high and the overall feel of the display is quite robust. The display also isn't prone to accidental slipping due to the sturdy stand.

This display features a very fast refresh rate of 144Hz, or 144 times per second. This allows for extremely fluent gameplay and is a major improvement over regular 60Hz displays.

The GeChic 1503i has no issues related to the responsiveness of its touchscreen, as the monitor uses a single, dedicated USB-A port to connect its touchpad to your computer. The port has enough bandwidth to support fast signal transfer.

The GeChic 1503i doesn’t require any additional software or drivers to work with Windows 7, 8.1, or 10.

In terms of picture quality, the GeChic 1503i performs much like a regular, mid-range laptop, without the actual computer. The monitor’s native contrast ratio and peak brightness are on par with what the average monitors in its price range offer.

The GeChic 1503i displays vivid, if somewhat flat, image. The colors are bright, vibrant and pop thanks to the monitor’s peak brightness of 300 nits. However, the blacks aren’t particularly deep. Dark scenes don't look too good as the monitor’s native contrast ratio of 700:1 just can’t push its blacks to enough intense levels.

Not only does the GeChic 1503i offers excellent touchscreen capabilities and high portability, its picture quality, ease of use, and overall energy efficiency are on par with what the majority of competitors in this price range offer.
