Pros
Pro Interesting concept
While not necessarily a game per say, The Foos Show does offer some content that is playable. While it has yet to be sen if every episode will offer this, the first episode does have a portion of the game Firewatch playable with VR.
This could potentially be a bit like a weekly demo of new and upcoming projects that focus on VR, with the packaging of a talk show to boot.
Pro Bullet time done right
Simple things like crouching during a slide to slow it down, prediction of moments when you want it, make you feel like slowing time is just a natural power you possess.
Pro Movement
Movement mechanics are so good they make every other game feel like you're stuck.
Pro The ultimate VR experience
No other VR game offers this much freedom in movement, it's truly amazing what you can do in this game. It's still Early Access and you should look forward to the constant stream of updates that come from this team. They are by far the most responsive development team in a VR game in dealing with bugs and taking people's feedback into account and implementing suggestions. If you got an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive and want a game that truly makes you feel badass this is the one to get.
Pro Flexible ninja fighting
You can use a bow, swords, pistols, fully automatic weapons, throwing knives, or combinations - the common denominator is that you get to stylistically carve your way through enemies leaving flying bodies in your wake, feeling like a total badass.
Pro Makes you feel like a badass
The movement scheme is by far the best in any VR game. Jumping, sliding, wall-running, back-flipping, ground-slamming, slow motion, trackpad or teleport locomotion...it's all there. And there are tons of settings so that you can tweak the movement to your exact liking. Add to that a bow, swords, pistols, shotgun, machine guns, many throwable weapons, and a deep relic system that adds many different abilities and modifications. This game should be held as the golden standard in VR development. And there's so much more coming! The fun never ends with this game.
Pro Progression
Character levels and loot. VR is pretty lacking in this area, which really hurts replayability for many gamers. Sairento's got the remedy.
Pro Great locomotion implementation
Jumping feels just like it should without causing any problems with nausea or sickness of any kind.
Pro Involved devs
The developers are very involved with the community and listen to all suggestions. For example the backflip move was added literally ten hours after it showed up on the forums as a suggestion.
Pro One of the best VR games to date
Responsive devs, Easy to pick up though hard to master.
Pro Great AI
Keeps you engaged.
Cons
Con Does not offer much content currently
Aimed at releasing episodes weekly, there is currently only one episode available. It is also in Early Access, meaning it is not currently ready for prime time.
The shows itself offers a bit of interactivity through a demo portion of Firewatch made for virtual reality, which can be played in room scale or standing, which is a small portion and limiting as a whole experience.
