When comparing Spellweaver vs Nova Blitz, the Slant community recommends Spellweaver for most people. In the question“What are the best digital Collectible Card Games on PC?” Spellweaver is ranked 4th while Nova Blitz is ranked 33rd. The most important reason people chose Spellweaver is:
This game is more complex than most digital card games. For example, to summon a creature you need the resource cards, but you also need to be a certain level (levels can be added by discarding resource cards). This makes for more unique deck compositions, as you will need to decide if your deck will be a resource or level focused deck, or a mix of the two.

Cons
Con The UI
It can improve a lot. The UI needs an update, but game mechanics and creature combat animations are moreish
Con Advanced game mechanics punish learning players
It will take a while before new players are fully accustomed to the way to play Spellweaver. A single poor decision can cost you the match. But learn from each mistake and the long term game satisfaction is great.
Con F2P, but if you want to grind the whole collection it can take a couple months.
But in game rewards are generous compared to competing CCGs, and there are many powerful decks which can be built using lower rarity cards, new players can be competitive with vets on ladder using rush decks until the fill out their collection.
