Cons
Con Partial transparency of software and hardware specifications
The company has stated on their FAQs page that they intent to release some of the software as open source, but keep other parts of the software and hardware design closed. They have stated they are open to allowing "trusted members of the community" to verify the integrity of these closed items. Ultimately, the inability for the whole community to review the integrity of the software and hardware means that you are, to some degree, putting your trust in this company to not do you wrong.
