The QC 35's ear cups and headband feature quality memory foam material which are soft and supportive so they do not pinch on your ears or apply too much pressure to the top of the head. These contact points are also covered with a quality leather material which feels nice and smooth on the skin.

Despite having internal batteries, these headphones are still fairly lightweight, coming in at 235 grams. This makes the QC35 really easy to wear for extended periods and even while traveling.

You can easily control playlist functions using the buttons on the right ear cup. These functions include volume control as well as the play, pause, next track and previous track commands. The on/off switch for the headphones is also on this ear cup.

Aside from Bluetooth connection, you can also connect the QuietComfort 35 to a source using a 3.5mm cable. This makes the headphones usable even with the battery depleted.

Bass is full and punchy. While the sub-bass is not pronounced, there is good and fast bass extension, and this is what gives the music punch and a sense of tightness.
The mids are full and slightly forward so vocals and guitars can be clearly heard.
The highs are clear and do not distort at high volumes. There is a peak on the upper treble which helps to add more detail and clarity to the music, but some may also find the high frequencies to be quite harsh at times.

Multiple microphones are strategically located on both ear cups, allowing for great voice quality when taking calls. The noise cancelling also helps to clean up the voice quality that goes into the headphones.

Aside from controlling RGB lighting, the CUE software also allows audio preset customization, manual EQ control and many other options.

Through Corsair's CUE software, users can choose from a wide range of color combinations for the lights on the left and right ear cups. Different lighting patterns can also be selected, and can be set to match with other RGB equipped computers and gaming peripherals.

The boom mic's position can easily be adjusted for optimal voice reception without getting in the way, and can also be rotated up to the left ear cup when not in use.

With the Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound feature activated, in-game audio sound as if they are coming from distinct directions. This really helps to improve gaming immersion, and can also enhance audio cues to pinpoint the location of nearby in-game allies or enemies.

With the RGB lights off, the headset can last long hours of use. Playback time can be anywhere from 15 to 20 hours of music listening and/or gaming before the battery is depleted.

The Void Pro has improved bass response compared to the original Void Wireless. Explosions have more oomph and gunshots and similar effects sound punchier than before. The highs also have great clarity, and it should be much easier for you to hear small audio details. The mids have good clarity, though they are slightly recessed. In-game and movie dialogue may easily be overpowered by the powerful lows and detailed treble.

On the left ear cup are buttons which power the headset on or off, as well as mute the sound. Also, on the back of the ear cup is a volume rocker which can be used to control volume as well as to cycle through the EQ presets.

This connects to your computer via the 2.4Ghz wireless band so you won't have to deal with dangling cables or adding more wires to your potentially wire-filled gaming setup.

This headset may cost similarly to other wired options. However, it offers the convenience of wireless connectivity with reliable signal quality and no latency.. Sound performance is good, making this a bang for the buck purchase.
