Cons
Con Low quality picture
The 640 x 480 resolution produces a low-quality picture. Pretty much the only review for this projector is the original document from Canon, so there is no objective information available about the picture quality. They did state a contrast ratio of 800:1, which falls far behind the best portable options.
Con Low lamp-life
Though it's 10,000 hours, portable projectors usually reach 20,000-30,000 hours. Projector lamps lose brightness over time, so you might actually have to replace the lamp and the replacement is probably not available.
Con Text images are not good
Though pictures and videos are vibrant, text images suffer in quality with the laser focus of Celluon PicoPro.
Con Not suitable for very bright viewing environments
Celluon PicoPro's brightness of 32 lumens is ok for use for dark viewing environments. However, the image quality suffers a lot in very bright environments. Under moderate lighting, the user can limit projection size to 14-15 inches to attain clear images which makes Celluon PicoPro suitable mostly for one-on-one presentations.
Con Low resolution
The effective resolution is said to be nowhere near their claim. Instead of 1920x720, it is often stated to be even below 1280×720, closer to 640x360.
Con Crosstalk - mixed up colors
Basically, colors on one part of the image affect colors on another part of the image.
Con Lasers can be dangerous
It's not very well marketed by the company, but the 3R laser light can be dangerous for eyes. You might want to be careful when kids are around.
Con Flicker - headaches
A lot of people have complained about getting headaches or other issues from the scan process of this projector.
