Pro Excellent 3200 CPI optical sensor
The Zowie FK2 gaming mouse uses an Avago 3310 optical sensor which is regarded as one of the best in the world. It has no built-in acceleration and no angle snapping. It’s practically jitter-less when set at 125 and 500Hz polling rate, and has barely noticeable jitter at 1000Hz.
The Avago 3310 has no native CPI, it is made to have each step of 50 CPI work as well as the previous one. With CPI steps of 400/800/1600/3200 for the FK1, all CPI choices should work equally well.
Pro Hybrid wireless/wired mouse
The Razer Ouroboros is a dual wired/wireless mouse so that when the device may be running low on battery the user can just plug it in.
Pro Swappable side magnetic panels
There are swappable magnetic side panels comprised of two thumb grip and two finger rest panels. This allows for users to customize the size and shape to their liking.
Pro Rechargeable (and removable) AA battery
There is an included rechargeable AA battery that offers 12 hours of gaming time. It can also be swapped with another battery if needed.
Pro Ambidextrous
The Razer Ouroboros is and ambidextrous device so left or right handers can use it equally.
Cons
Con Only 4 DPI settings
Even though the ADNS-3310 sensor supports DPI settings in increments of 50, the FK1 only lets you choose between 400 / 800 / 1600 / 3200 DPI.
Con Middle click needs too much force
Plenty of people use the middle mouse button to move the map around. Unfortunately the middle click for this mouse takes too much force to be used consistently.
Con Expensive
At $149.99 this is a pretty expensive device, even if it is wireless.
