When comparing Meepo vs BajaBoard, the Slant community recommends Meepo for most people. In the question“What are the best electric skateboards?” Meepo is ranked 4th while BajaBoard is ranked 8th. The most important reason people chose Meepo is:
This is a great option for those who want to try out an electric skateboard without paying thousands of dollars. For such a low price for an electric skateboard, Meepo offers 22 MPH top speed, 11-mile range, and 30% hill grade climbing. It also has swappable batteries, which is very convenient if you don't want to wait for your board to charge before riding again; yet this feature is not yet implemented by the majority of the industry. Therefore it not only competes with boards that are 2-4 times more expensive, but even beats them in some aspects.

Pros
Pro Great value for the price

For such a low price for an electric skateboard, Meepo offers 22 MPH top speed, 11-mile range, and 30% hill grade climbing. Pro Waterproof
Pro Impressive top speed
The BajaBoard can go up to 37 MPH. This is faster than most high-end city longboards that top at 20-24 MPH.
Pro Goes anywhere
Obviously doesn't go into water, but it pretty much barges through every other terrain imaginable.
Pro Super responsive controller with a lot of features
You've got the standard power settings, but it even has settings for traction control. The board follows the trigger very quickly, so even though there's a lot of power, you feel like you've got it under control.
Pro Braking is smooth
Brakes are strong but very smooth. You can actually configure the braking strength.
Pro 4-wheel drive
BajaBoard is one of the few four-wheel drive boards on the market. This gives it amazing power and handling on rough terrain, which is the board’s bread and butter.
Cons
Con The riding experience isn't the smoothest
The board is bristle and sometimes cracks can appear.
Con Quite heavy
The board weighs 55 pounds.
Con Extremely expensive
With a base price of $4,500, it's a real investment. While very few other boards are built for quite the same riding style as the BajaBoard, other top-of-the-line boards come in at less than half the cost.
Con Poor maneuverability
It's difficult to maneuver and turn on the Bajaboard, sharp turns feel uncomfortable and unbalanced. Depends on if you had one of their original G3's or the new G4 or G4X. The new boards feel great. Obviously with the size it doesn't turn as sharply as some of your street boards, but for trail riding, no problems.
Con Not waterproof
It can be affected by water damage.
Con No mobile app
There is no mobile applications for iOS nor Android, which is a massive loss given its price.
Con Bad usability and connectivity of remote
The remote feels hard and uncomfortable, it's not easy to modulate and it's not reliable - it loses connection with the board quite often, potentially causing serious injuries. The latest G4 model however features a new hand controller which is much easier to use and has improved functionality.
