The Hatch night light's color, brightness, sound, and volume level can be personalized through the Hatch Android/iOS app. You can program for these features to turn on and off at a set time or adjust them remotely. This eliminates the need to sneak into your child's room to manually adjust the settings which may disrupt their sleep.

Unlike most night lights which run on batteries, this is powered by electricity. You can plug it into a 110v socket and it will never run out of juice, even when used non-stop while your child is asleep.

There is a 'toddler lock' feature that disables all the controls on the device itself. This prevents your children from overriding your set programs during their run-time.

The Vava's settings can easily be controlled. Double tap the body to power on and off, touch and hold the top to dim the light, and slide your fingers across the logo to change the light from a soft amber to a white incandescent glow. This eliminates fussing over multiple buttons that may be hard to see when it's dark.

The Vava can last 80 hours on a 3 hour charging time. It isn't entirely reliable on electricity nor it doesn't run on batteries which may eventually run out. It can also be charged using a USB charger.

It's made of waterproof and shock-resistant material. This means you can take the light on family hiking/camping trips. It can easily be hung on its bottom to act as an overhead light.
