Despite the compact size. the bass is full, has great impact, deep extension yet is not loose. The low end also has a natural quality to it that makes these headphones great for music that is performed using real instruments.
The mids are slightly recessed, but also have a natural tone. The highs are the most recessed or rolled-off, but the detail and airiness of the music is not totally absent. This quality helps give the sound a smooth and pleasing tonality.

The K81 can be used “DJ style”, wherein only one ear cup is in contact with the head. The cups have a smooth swivel action so they can be rotated to face outwards. A user can choose to hold one ear cup up to his or her ear while flipping switches or turning knobs on the mix board with the other hand.

While these are already quite compact, the ear cups can be folded into the headband to reduce their size even further. This makes them easy to stuff inside a bag and travel with.

The clamping force is not too much at all, so acceptable levels of pressure will be applied on the ears. Also, the ear pads are thick with ample pleather padding on the surface. This combination provides adequate cushioning between the ear cups and sides of the head.

The aluminum headband itself has some good flex. Combined with the sliding mechanism of the ear cups, K81 can be adjusted to fit a wide range of head sizes. Also notable are the numbered steps on each side of the headband, which allow for accurate and consistent ear cup positioning.

Although it's mostly made of plastic, the materials don't feel cheap at all. Aside from feeling sturdy, the plastics have a smooth rubber coating which makes them feel premium to the touch. Also, the headband is made out of aluminum which is significantly more durable than an all plastic one.

Thick memory foam is used in the ear pads along with a velour material on the surface which feels great on the skin. These pads are also removable and washable, making them easy to maintain.
The headband also features padding with a reasonable thickness so the top of a user's head will not feel painful when wearing these.

The mic design integrates into the left ear cup very well. If you do decide to stow away the mic and push it up, it will look like the mic is just part of the ear cup instead of being a separate unit.

Explosions can sound really good with the G933 as the bass is quite powerful. You'll be able to experience a lot of rumble and punch from the lower frequencies. Also, the upper mids and the highs are quite boosted. This gives a nice thickness and warmth to the sound.
Voices from game dialogue can be clearly heard, while audio details are clear and also easy to distinguish.

The G933 Artemis is praised for its extremely long wireless range, up to 30 feet indoors and even 40 feet outdoors. Stability is also excellent: the wireless functionality doesn't distort the audio quality at all.

The G933 is quite sturdy and has a rugged exterior, but offers good comfort for users. Build quality is also excellent, with a combination of high quality plastic and metal being used in the headset's construction. Also, the it does not have a lot of creaks or unnecessary flex.

With the surround feature activated, sound direction from their various sources is much more distinct. This can help to heighten immersion.

This headset has adjustable lighting, so you can choose a RGB-color in the software suite of the headset. You can also adjust the equalizer, surround sound settings, and you can allocate shortcuts and macro's to programmable buttons on the left ear cup.

The included 4-pole audio cable allows the headset to be used without power, with smartphones or any other device as normal headphones.
