The developers of AirMech show a great bit of inspiration in AirMech that is derived from the 90s classic Herzog Zwei. Something of a spiritual succesor if you will that is now reformed into the current trends of MOBAs.
Pro Many options to experiment with
All of the in-game options means there is a swath of strategies to experiment and play around with making for a game that one can spend a good amount of time playing in order to learn all the different aspects.

A twist on the normal MOBA playstyle is the Gigantic has a large monster on each side of the board f which each team protects and uses to fight against the other.
Pro Cross platform capability with console and PC
Gigantic was one of the first titles announced to be cross platform with Windows 10 and Xbox One. The Developers have confirmed that this feature can be turned off if desired, but this gives an instant boost to player numbers and a decrease in wait times when enabled.

Con Playerbase in some regions is very low
Communities are limited to some region like US and Europe. SEA players are having a hard time if they want to play multiplayer - they are often matched to EU/US due to lack of online playerbase and get ping times from 330-520.
