Runtastic vs Waze

The audio coach provides updates at each checkpoint. The trainer is capable of telling the user total duration, pace, speed, calories burned, calories burned, and heart rate (if wearing a monitor).

This app encourages users to utilize their interval training feature. This feature is easy to use because it is integrated with their voice coach who well notify the runner when the next interval is arriving.

The completed workout's map is saved along with all of the data collected about the workout. Because of this feature, users can easily track their improvement and accurately set goals.

Shows red during heavy traffic along with mph, and orange for mild traffic.

You can select the route icon and it will give you 3 options with milage and time to get you there if you want to choose your own route.

Each waze user has the ability to report traffic and road information changes as well as accidents, road closures, police locations and other alerts in real-time. This information is then displayed on the map to benefit other drivers and used to recalculate optimal route.
