Tweedle vs Talon

You can choose between 5 different themes, including light and dark themes. You can also manually set up Tweedle colors yourself, choose to display avatars or not and what you want actionbar to look like.

You can have separate notification settings for your timeline, mentions and direct messages for each account. Refresh time can be set between a minute and 4 hours.

You can customize what columns you want shown - home, mentions, messages, favorites, retweets, trends, search and lists.

Tweedle embeds previews of photos and videos in your timeline.

Allows for easy switching between different Twitter accounts within the app.

You can have all your communication with Twitter encrypted.

You can choose to have instant push notifications when on Wi-Fi.

You can remove tweets of a user from your timeline without having to unfollow them. As well as mute specific words or hashtags.

Allows following links without having to leave the application.

Pictures are overlayed on top the screen and can be pinch-zoomed.

A feature called Talon Pull creates a quick-access (from you notification area) pop-out window that shows your timeline. Does not require opening an app and does not show an icon in the status bar.

At the expense of more battery consumption you can have notifications pop-up as the events take place.

Youtube videos play back within the app.

You can follow links and articles without having to leave the application.

Light, Dark and Pitch Black themes are available out of the box and you can also download/create other themes.

Dashclock Widget brings advanced features and notifications to your lock screen, including Talon notifications.

Allows for easy switching between 2 Twitter accounts.

Allows for filtering out only videos, pictures or links.
