Pros
Pro Always on: ePaper display
The back screen writes information in E-Ink, meaning it can display that information without draining the battery. Apps can be set to route incoming information, from, for example, social networks, to that screen.
Pro Dual-screen
YotaPhone's signature feature is the dual-screen. On one side it has a typical capacitive 1080p display on the other an ePaper display. On latest generation phones both displays are fully touch compatible.
Pro Industry leading camera
With an amazing f/1.7 aperture, OIS and 'focus pixel' technology, even low light shots come out surprisingly well. Daylight shots are absolutely amazing.
Pro Water and dust resistance
The IP68 rating means that the S7 Edge can withstand being submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes
Pro Fantastic screen
The large (5.5"), high resolution (1440p) display used Amoled technology, which provides true blacks and punchy colors. Colors can go a bit wonky at lowest brightness and at extreme angles, but those are small prices to pay for such an amazing display.
Pro Great battery life
The battery lasts a long time in the S7 Edge, with real users reporting around 5 hours of screen on time, and review sites mentioning it has above average battery life as well.
The battery is also quick-charge compatible, as well as wireless charging (and wireless quick charging). For quick charge, you'll need the included adapter, or another quick-charge certified adapter.
During a 90 minute video test at 100% brightness, the battery only dropped by 14%, and GSMArena rates the battery at 98h which is amazing
Pro Multi-window feature
The S7 Edge allows you to run two apps on the screen at the same time. To enter this mode, hold the recent apps button. The S7 Edge supports more than 40 apps in this multi-window mode.
Pro Fantastic performance
While the processors may differ depending on where you buy it (America gets the Snapdragon 820 and virtually everywhere else gets the Exynos 8890), both processors provide great performance which is significantly better than the last generation of processors.
The Exynos version has slightly faster load times and much faster multitasking, however the Snapdragon version offers a better GPU which translates to better in-game performance. Either way, you are getting top notch performance.
Pro Compatible with VR
The Galaxy S7 Edge is compatible with Samsung Gear VR. It costs $99, but sometimes can be bundled with the phone for less. It is a great affordable introduction to virtual reality, although it isn't the best solution available.
The phone clips into the headset, and connects via the USB port to act as the brains and display for the unit.
Cons
Con Needs a rubber protector
The rear screen is matt smooth and so is really slippy. Combine that with the phones soft-rounded edges and you have a phone that can slip out of your fingers very easily.
Con Slippery
The glass back makes it very slippery, and you may want to invest in a case or skin to improve the grip, however those options will hide the great design of the phone.
Con Poor speaker placement
The single speaker on the bottom of the phone is fairly easy to block, and holding your finger over it mutes it significantly.
