When comparing Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition vs Company of Heroes, the Slant community recommends Company of Heroes for most people. In the question“What are the best LAN party PC games?” Company of Heroes is ranked 21st while Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition is ranked 64th. The most important reason people chose Company of Heroes is:
There is a co-op skirmish mode where players can work together in order to defeat an imposing force. This easily changes up the online gameplay since that is competition based, which may not always appeal to those that would rather work with their friends rather than compete against them.

Cons
Con Poor plot and characters
The story is nothing new with many elements that are just too familiar at this point. A reluctant hero and a cold government agent mixed with a rather basic plot points to a lack of imagination and an obvious attempt to create a game for the masses.
Con Poor multi-threading
Sadly, Dying Light does not do multi-threading very well which results in low frame-rates. For a modern game that is to be played on consoles or PCs with multiple cores, it is mind boggling that proper multi-threading has not been taken full advantage of. This simply comes down to laziness, something that is not new to Techland and their poorly optimized ports.
Con Difficult to tell teammates apart
All the teammates are the same colour, you can change it in the game options.
