Pros
Pro Roguelite gameplay elements gives the game longevity thanks to the randomization
Randomized star map, enemies, and loot that allows the game to stay fresh and appealing, as you never know what will happen the next time you play.
Pro No IAPs, you get what you pay for upfront
It's a straight up purchase for the entire game meaning you receive all of the content, all for a singular price.
Pro Plays very much like the popular game FTL, whch should appeal to those familiar or who are fans
For those waiting for FTL to hit android devices, this is very similar: you take your ship, progress through star systems, defeat enemies, gather resources from their remains, upgrade your weapons, take on and complete quests that require you to travel to specific star systems.
There is no subsystem targeting or crew management.
Pro Good touch controls
Players tap and drag their character around the screen and have a bar at the bottom with quick actions such as spells. This makes for an easy and intuitive way to control the game.
Pro Robust levelling system
Users are not limited to using what only should work best for a certain class, they are free to level up any skills they wish which all work well together.
Pro High replay value
With the large amount of builds for characters that are available there is great incentive to play the game repeated times.
Cons
Con Game can get fairly easy to breeze through if you figure out the optimal ship configuration
It starts out very challenging, but as you level up your captain and better ships become available, the difficulty doesn't ramp up enough to keep the challenge going.
Con Limited end-game content
Once you have all the classes and defeated the final boss multiple times, the only you can do is go to the colosseum. The story is good but its kinda short. Sure you can try different builds but you get bored after a while. Nonetheless, i really enjoyed this game, but was sad after i finished it cuz there was nothing left to do.
Con Level recommendations for stages are not always accurate
Even though a level may say its best to be a certain character level , lets say 29, it often happens that the player needs to be a lot higher in order to actually win the stage.
