Pros
Pro A variety of fun tasks are provided on top of the main storyline
There are many different tasks a player can take on such as fetch quests, rescue missions, or even just scoping a place out for the future. This gives the game a good bit of variety to the gameplay.
Pro Events that happen like the real world, whether you are logged in or not, creating a very realistic feeling game mechanic
There is an in game real-time-ish clock to the game, that even has events that happen when the player is not even logged in. Such as holidays or just events that mean something to the characters found within the game. This is not mirrored to the players real world time, but acts as its own time in the game.
Pro Bases can be compartmentally upgraded, giving a task to the player and something to strive for
Scavanged materials can be used to upgrade parts of the players base such as infirmaries or sleeping quarters. This gives the player something to strive for, searching out new materials in order to upgrade on more section of their home base.
Pro Detailed physical firearms simulation and physics interactions
This is the core of the game, more a proof of concept as this is all in a sandbox with little to no goals. Interact with objects, wee how they behave and load and fire weapons.
Pro Active development, new weekly content and updates
This is an early access game that is being actively developed meaning new content and bug fixes frequently.
Pro Mini-games, scored/timed target practice w/ local and global leaderboard support
There are a few mini-games included that give some incentive to play after handling and exploring most objects in the game. There is leaderboard support, which also allows for some longevity for those that want to try to get to the top of the charts.
Cons
Con Poor collision detection
Combat is not the best, poor collision detection means more button mashing than skill is needed.
Con No story, only firearm simulation
The gameplay is pretty basic for now, a proof of concept really, but still fun to mess around with.
Con No multiplayer
Single player only as there is no way to play this game with friends.
