Cons
Con Dedicated servers have been shut down
The game is no longer supported. You can still play peer-to-peer though.
Con Pre-order unlocks
Evolve will allow anyone who pre-orders the game to have all monsters unlocked from the start. Something that will not be true for normal post release paying customers. What this means is that the grind that is necessary to unlock the monsters is pretty much superfluous and only there to incentivize pre-order money (getting money before anyone finds out if the game is good or not) as well as falsely lengthen the game with monotonous tasks allowing the creators to keep their player-base playing the until more DLC is released.
Con Bugs that appeared in the original XBox title were not fixed for the PC port
There are still bugs and glitches in the game that were in the original XBox version. Even though there were simple fixes for some of these the dev nor publisher bothered to address them.
Con Fair amount of grinding
There is a good amount of grinding that will need to take place for players to be able to advance past certain bosses.
