Pros
Pro Co-op multiplayer works seamlessly across systems
There is cross platform (iOS,Android) co-op multiplayer available to all players, which works great and is easy to use, even when playing against someone on a different OS.
Pro 2 player local co-op that encourages teamwork
In 2 player co-op, each player has their own specific muffins they need to collect. These spawn in two at a time - one for each player. However, both players must get their muffin before new ones will appear. This means even after you collect your muffin, you'll have to help your teammate get theirs no matter what. It's a neat little mechanic that has you and a friend working together to navigate the map and kill enemies.
Pro Interesting shapeshifting mechanic keeps gameplay fresh
Every time you collect a muffin when going through the various levels, your character transforms into a random creature. While every form can jump and run, each one has different abilities which will change up the gameplay. There's a frog who can attack from long range his tongue, a unicorn who uses rainbow bombs, an archer who shoots arrows, and many more. You never know what form you'll take when collecting a muffin, and since there's so many muffins to collect, you'll constantly be swapping forms and trying new things throughout the entire game. It's a neat mechanic that really keeps things from getting stale, and trying out all the different forms is both interesting and fun.
Pro Stylish 3D graphics give a pleasant cartoony look
The graphics are presented in a 2D environment but are rendered in 3D, all with vibrant colors and detailing that makes the whole game look cartoony. It's a cheery and bright aesthetic that is pleasant to look at and play.
Pro Great controls allow the game to be easily controlled on a touchscreen
For what can make or break every platformer in existence, Muffin Knight luckily has great controls for a mobile title. They are very responsive and running/jumping around each level is an overall smooth experience.
Pro MOGA controller and Bluetooth keybinding support
Moga and Moga Pro controllers are supported. Additionally, you can use a bluetooth keyboard to map the controls if you prefer to play with a keyboard.
Pro Longevity through multiple playthroughs thanks to the sheer amount of text and choices to be found in the game
The games story is pretty deep and the text that can be found within that, tells it will take multiple playthroughs to see it all, making for not only a good reason to play many times, but creates the feeling of a very deep universe.
Pro Many mods
You can find many community-created mods that improve the game.
Pro Gameplay holds up well
For what is now an eleven year old game, the classic Bioware RPG game mechanics such as branching dialog and turn based battles similar to a CRPG (where the player must pause the gameplay in order to choose their commands to then un-pause in order to watch their chosen strategy play out) hold up well.
Pro Engaging story thanks to the superb writing
Being a role playing game, KotOR has a pretty long story that the player feels connected to that luckily was written well, making for a good story that is very engaging.
Pro Handles Star Wars license well
Seeing things like Jedi vs Sith and politics in the game that are now staples of the newer movies helps to feel as though the game fits into the cannon quite well. With so many movie license games in the past being quick cash-ins it is great to see the Star Wars license used in a manner that fits with the cannon and of high quality development.
Cons
Con Contains in app purchases even though the game costs money already
Even though the game is already a paid title, there are additional, optional in-app purchases that can be used to make the game easier.
Con Somewhat buggy
Crashes can happen while playing, while not a huge deal they can be annoying.
