Pros
Pro Highly accurate optical sensor
With a 12,000 DPI zero-acceleration optical sensor the Scimtar offers one of the most accurate sensors on an MMO mouse, as most others use laser sensors. Optical sensors are often used in mice that focus on FPSs as they need more accurate tracking than laser tends to provide. So not only will this mouse have great tracking for MMOs/MOBAs it will also provide tracking performance on par with the best FPS mouse.
Pro Intuitive hexagonal button placement
The design of the button placement allows the user to intuitively click each without having to look at what they are pressing.
Cons
Con Bottom row buttons are too low
The users thumb may often touch the mousepad when trying to use the bottom row of side buttons due to their low placement, this can mess with accuracy of the mouse due to the drag that will be created when touching the mousepad.
Con Glossy coating is slippery
Having a gloss coat on the top of the mouse causes excess sweat to build up easily which then makes the mouse slippery. A matte finish would have been ideal but sadly is not available for this model.
Con Side buttons are too sensitive
Accidental clicks happen too frequently with the Nag Hex due to the over sensitive button switches.
