Pros
Pro High quality art
The art gets its inspiration from WoW and HoMM and is quite high quality. Definitely a pleasure to look at.
Pro Different game modes
There's so much to do in the game - Mazes for farming, Arena for PVP and rankings, Raids for stealing other players' currency, and more.
Pro Four different factions
There are four different factions the player can build their decks with, Faen, Humans, Neanders and Mortii. Though most factions work best when using them and them only.
Pro Shuffled deck allows for more strategy
By forcing the player to use a shuffled deck the most powerful cards may not be able to be used at first. This means the deck needs to me more balanced overall as well as the player needs to be more watchful of the opponent's plays to counter adequately.
Pro Simple rules but plenty of strategy to be found
The rules of the game are pretty easy to learn but it is underlying strategy of what decks to build and what playstyles to use that make the game so strategic.
Pro Unique idea for game mechanics
No mana, play two cards per turn to level them up and increase their power, every four turns the deck is reshuffled to include the leveled up cards.
Pro Active and awesome community
Small community, but very active and dedicated to the survival of this game.
Pro Cross platform accounts
SolForge has cross platform accounts, making it easy for users to load up the game on their preferred device and log into their account with all of their progress.
Cons
Con The game is unplayable without spending crazy amounts of money
The only way is to invest in an event which costs thousands of gems and will give you back the same amount plus an extra, and some premium random cards. Having in mind that there are a LOT of premium cards and that you need several copies to make them worth it, it is pretty impossible to make a decent deck, even if you try hard.
Con Some cards too difficult to obtain without paying
Even though the game is free to play, some cards are pretty much locked behind a paywal, forcing serious players to eventually spend real money on the game if they want to compete.
Con Developer has given up
Almost shut down 3 months ago, now the guy running the community is the only one doing anything
Con Few players
Very few play this game.
Con May feel pay to win
Collecting cards in the game can be difficult as no single card can be purchases, you can only get cards in packs that either cost real money or earned in game currency, which takes time and grinding to earn. This is exasperated by the fact that there is no secondary market where people can sell cards.
