Pros
Pro Widely available
A lot of specialty sodas are region specific but IBC is carried by Walmart and many other national stores meaning it is easy to find no matter where someone lives.
Pro Vanilla cream soda
Some cream sodas have a more cotton candy taste to them, IBC's cream soda is vanilla flavored and is definitely one of the better ones at that.
Pro Hard candy shell
The hard candy shell means that the Skittles will not melt and also makes them easy to eat as they cause no mess or residue on the hands and fingers.
Pro Strong fruity candy flavor
Skittles have a very strong fruit candy flavor to them that work great on their own and in interesting combinations.
Pro Eye catching packaging
The white logo on the bright red packaging definitely stands out when browsing store shelves.
Cons
Con Sweetened with high fructose corn syrup
Like most main stream sodas IBC uses high fructose corn syrup as its sweetener. Sadly IBC fits more in the market with specialty sodas where sugar is the preferred sweetener, which really keeps them out of the running when comparing to better sugar based sodas.
Con Replaced lime (in original Skittles) with green apple
One of the best things about the original Skittles was that all of the flavors worked together. Eating a random handful at once was never a problem as all the flavors could combine with versatility. Now that effortless combination of flavors does not work as green apple has been thrown into the mix replacing the original lime, now creating an odd amalgamation of flavor that just does not work as one.
