Theta has a button in the middle of the camera body that takes 360-degree images when pressed. This makes using the device very straightforward, if not self explanatory.
Pro Excellent portability
Theta is lightweight at just 95 g and small at 42 mm (W) x 129 mm (H) x 22.8 mm. This means that it can be easily carried around in a pocket or bag with practically no additional weight. Theta is therefore very flexible thanks to its size.
Pro Currently available, unlike other options
The Ricoh Theta is already shipping and has an established ecosystem of web apps, mobile apps, and strong user communities on Facebook and Google+. Most other options aren't available yet for purchase.

Con Poor image quality for the asking price
While there's no official word on sensors and image processors, expert reviews suggest that it's within the 5-6.5MP range. Theta produces reasonable images, but better images should be expected, given its price range.
Con Lack of expandable memory
Theta comes with 4 GB built-in memory which can only take videos of 4-5 minutes. Sadly there is no way to expand this memory as there is no external card slot.
Con Recording isn't a smooth process
To record a short video, you have to keep the shutter button pressed in (releasing it stops the recording).
If you want to record a longer video, you have to hold the button then swipe up on the app.
Con Only compatible with newer iPhones
The Insta360 Nano only works with newer iPhones (6/6 plus, 6s/6s plus, 7/7 plus).
However, you can use the camera without a phone, but you won't have a live preview.
Con Poor video quality
Video quality is really inconsistent and lacking in detail. The slightest change in lighting will cause that area to appear under or over exposed, making for a patchy image.
Con No way to use a single camera
You aren't able to take single still images with the camera, 360 degrees is your only option.
Con Easy to damage the camera
It's not the most well-constructed camera and has a fairly plastic-y feel to it. The lenses protrude with no protection, making them easy to damage.
You don't get a hardcase with this camera to protect it in transit, so you'll want to find your own way to protect it while on the move.
