Pros
Pro Good mashup of gameplay elements
This is a mix of the RPG genre with farming. Pretty much a mashup of the Harvest Moon series with a classic Japanese RPG. Something more along the lines of Rune Factory, but combined with the PopoloCrois series. An original experience that brings a classic RPG series to a new system.
Pro Interesting use of relationships
Users can pair certain male female characters in battle to improve their relationship. Once it reaches a certain point the characters can breed offspring who then can be used as more troops in the team. This makes for an ingenious way to build up ones roster as well as adds a relationship aspect to the story and gameplay.
Pro Very customizable
Not only is ones troops customizable through their looks, armor and weapon choices but there are many aspects of the game itself that can be changed such as the voice work or skipping cut scenes.
Cons
Con RPG elements are basic
The RPG elements in the game will be very familiar to anyone that is a fan of the genre. It tends to be pretty basic in play and can be a bit boring. While the story is really good, the actual RPG gameplay is pretty hum drum.
Con Amount of options may be too much to grasp
While not the worst thing in the world there are quite a lot of options in this game. A forging system for weapons a special power system for all characters may not ever be touched in a playthrough making one ask why they were included. On top of this they may be difficult to grasp the full mechanics upon first look and so may make for systems people do not really want to explore.
