Sena SMH10 vs Sena 20S-01

SMH10 can be pairid with up to three other Sena units for a group conversation. It advertises a 900m open-terrain range and it automatically re-pairs when in range.

The headset has a button on the back for smartphone-related actions and a combined button and dial for actions such as volume and toggling intercom functionality. The controls are big enough that they're easy to use with gloves. Additionally, calls can also be answered with voice commands.

Speakers are clear and can be turned up loud enough to enable riding with earplugs in. Microphone picks up voice clearly up to about 100km/h where wind noise starts interfering.

Sena advertises 10 day standby time and 12h talk time.

You'll be able to easily communicate with others while on a ride. The range is quite wide at around 2km as long as line of sight is maintained.

You'll be able to easily control the 20S-01's functions. It features a jog-dial which you can twist or press to do functions like adjust the volume and activate or deactivate the intercom.

You'll be able to easily converse even with your helmet on. This headset has Ambient Mode which you can activate at the press of a button. Once on, external microphones pick-up ambient sound, making them easier to hear.

Your voice will sound clear from other riders' headsets. Not only does the 20S-01 produce clear and full voice, but it also eliminates wind noise quite effectively.
