Powerful enough to run a regular desktop (XFCE4 in my case) with 8 GB, has video acceleration for x264 (+ encode up to full HD)) & x265, has the GPIO, wonderful as a cheap an energy saving server for most apps. This is really a masterpiece of hardware, I own 6 of them and plan to buy more.

The best Pi yet, with lots more performance (cf Pi 3), lots more memory, more display, and far better interfaces. USB3 can now be used as boot drive, leading to several times the I/O performance of an SD card. Network boot is I believe also supported.
