Cons
Con Development slowed to only focus on stability and security
Thunderbird has slowed down it's development of features to only focus resources on security and stability.
Con Complicated user interface
After using email apps on phones, I just expect more from my desktop. An app must do something better than you can get with a simple Chromium app tab (that can be Gmail or Yahoo inboxes pulling emails from everywhere and easily sending mails).
Other apps work better.
