Pros
Pro Works everywhere and for everything
Start.me enhances your browsing experience in much the same way a contact manager helps you calling friends. By being able to properly organize your favorite websites, you save valuable time not having to search for the address of a site.
Start.me also serves as a hub for all your information needs. Stay up to date with your world, by following the latest news, stocks, sports scores and weather forecasts from your personal dashboard.
By default all start.me pages are private, but pages can also be shared with friends and colleagues making it a great tool to share online resources and information.
Cons
Con Should sell itself as a start page, because they are a bookmark service that's lousy at bookmarks
Be careful if you Curate Bookmarks or even just have a bunch. First, there is a file size limit that is pretty low for your Bookmark HTML import. Second, if you have or gain too many bookmarks even if you paid for the pro, you won't be able to export them. Third, customer service is beyond terrible, indifferent, lazy, and full of crap.
Con Development is stagnant, several features have been broken for years
There's a lot to like about this product, but little patience should be had for people that try to charge money for something that appears to be just a hobby. The e-mail and RSS feed widgets have worked only sporadically for nearly two years. Calls for support are met with a hard sell for the premium edition.
