Just FYI - there's some support for that on the Web version of Drive: https://i.imgur.com/bmZr58x.png. It seems to work for me and doesn't look like it's pulling metadata only.

We can offer better suggestions if you could tell us more about your use case :-)

Hey, can you elaborate on what you mean by "searchable tools"? Are you looking for full-text search engines like ElasticSearch? We have a question here that might fit your needs.
