I need a programming language which has strong backend capabilities which can have tools to build desktop GUI (As of now windows but it should be portable too). I thought of python and Lua, can you suggest a better language than these two.
@HamanthGousik are you referring to only desktop GUIs? Do you have any platforms in mind? This is pretty broad given that the most helpful answers would be platform-dependant.
