Should Slant open external links in target="_blank" ?

You should think people today know how to open a link in a new window / tab.

From right-click to select a menu item to control click or middle click or even dragging the link to a tab or a space between tabs (depends on browser, of course, I use mostly Firefox), the possibilities are numerous.
No need to force users.

I think it is annoying that people in 2013 still don't know how to open a simple link in a separate window or tab... Master your browser, and don't force a behavior on us.
